The sales of Buick Regal significantly dropped this year and to cover it up, the automaker has decided to cut down the prices of the Regal to ensure a strong market position. A new base model has been added in the 2015 model year, which starts at $27,990 (including destination charges). Moreover, the 2016 Buick will be available in four variants and while the base model’s price remains unchanged, the Regal GS variant will now cost $34,990 with destination charges. This makes it $3,320 cheaper than the 2015 model, which is priced at $38,310.
The best part is that all the equipment in the 2016 Buick Regal will remain the same and it will also offer Apple CarPlay. The powertrain will include a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with either six-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmissions generating 259 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.
According to Buick’s spokesperson, the price reduction of Regal will surely make it more preferable among the mid-size sedan fans in the market.
