The all-new 2016 Maserati Levante crossover will soon become a reality, and the company is counting on it, a lot more than one would expect. The stylish SUV was first revealed as a concept during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.

According to Automotive News, the current statistics of the famous car manufacturer show its sales are not flourishing very well. Maserati suffered a 30% loss on its sales sheet, cutting the profits down to 47 million Euros, and as the market performance of the company is dwindling, the upcoming Levante will be the best chance for the automaker to reclaim its position, which just a year ago was top of the line.

The latest crossover from Maserati is expected to feature a 3.0 L V6 or a 3.8 L V8 engine, powering all the wheels. It is anticipated that the current crisis will soon be withered, as all eyes are set on the glamorous Levante.
