The former crew hosting the most popular automotive TV show, Top Gear, has signed up a 250 million dollar deal, to host a new 12-episode TV series for Amazon. The famous trio left Top Gear, as the sponsors fired Jeremy Clarkson and in the protest the other two team members, James May and Richard Hammond, ended the contract as well.

The story begins with Clarkson, who is known for his notorious behaviour, but there’s no doubt he’s a true entertainer. However, balancing between the two, Top Gear opted to removed him from the show, which led the events all the way to creating a new production for Amazon that will air live on its Prime Service.

According to the reports, Top Gear privileged some 350 million viewers, and with such a huge audience, Amazon expects to earn so much, that the mere sum of $250M will be a drop of water from the full cane.
