While the car enthusiasts are still drooling over the stunning looks and matchless performance of Lamborghini Huracán, we just got to know that a convertible spyder version of Huracán is expected to be released in the next few months.
Talking about the powertrain, it will probably carry the same 5.2 litre V10 engine found in the regular coupe edition. This robust engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox delivers 602 hp and 413 pound-feet of torque. One disadvantage would be that it will weigh more than the coupe version because of the hard top and this may lower the performance a little.
But more importantly, we are curious to know about roof concept in the Huracán. Will it be the fabric roof panel as found in Lamborghini Gallardo or something new this time to beat its rivals, McLaren 650S Spider and Ferrari 488 Spider.
Reports indicate that the Huracán convertible will not be revealed before the Geneva Motor Show next year.
