The Youxia X sedan has been unleashed in China striking similarities in shape and design to Tesla Model S. The base model offers an incredible electric mileage of 137 miles using 40 kW battery.
The all-new Youxia X is here to give a hard time to Tesla Model S, in the time to come. Apart from the standard 40kW battery, the latest electric drive is also offering 60 kW battery for a 205 miles run, and also the most formidable presentation of 85 kW unit which will drag the car all the way to 286 miles. For an undistinguished eye, they both seem carbon copies of the same blue print, but if you look closer, the Y-shaped tail-lights do differentiate it from Tesla, or at least they are trying to.
Exploring the exterior features further, the front grille bears a customizable display that can show a sweeping red light inspired by KITT from Knight Rider, which is also evident from its infotainment system that has been named KITT OS. The car is powered by a 348 hp electric motor, and the prices are expected to be around $47,000 to $63,000. The deliveries will commence in 2017.
