Dodge has announced to increase the production of 2016 Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcats. The initiative was taken due to the very high demand of these models, that surpassed company’s expectations. Dodge revealed its plan in a latest press release, based on the heavy demand of the 2015 models.

As a part of this new strategy, all 2015 SRT Hellcat bookings will be cancelled and the relevant customers will be compensated with discounted prices on the 2016 releases, while the orders for new SRT Hellcat vehicles will re-open from second week of August and the production would commence in September.

The 2016 Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcats would boast ultra-premium Laguna Leather interior, Uconnect with navigation, HD radio and 5-year subscription of SiriusXM Travel Link and SiriusXM Traffic as standard features.

The new plan has created a competition among dealerships whereby their allocation for the 2016 models will be based on sales performance of Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and Dodge Challenger.
