A blog post published by Tesla Motors CEO, Elon Musk on July 17, 2015 revealed about the Ludicrous Mode which will allow the electric sedans to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds and cover a distance of 1/4 mile in just 10.9 seconds.
What’s surprising is that in that blogpost, a line reads “While working on our goal of making the powertrain last a million miles, we came up with the idea for an advanced smart fuse for the battery”, can you imagine an engine so powerful that it would run for a lifetime?
This news might not be surprising since this is not the first time Tesla Motors has presented something no automaker has their hands on. The Tesla Model S revealed last year extends an infinite mile warranty too.
