Toyota has announced the prices of limited-run Corolla and Camry models, which will be available for sale at Toyota dealers this August. The company plans to make only 12,000 units of Camry and about 8,000 Corollas, to be sold with starting prices of $25,715 and $20,635 respectively.
The all-new 2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition carries a 2.5-litre 4-cyl engine mated with six-speed automatic transmission, featuring 18-inch alloy wheels, smoked rear lights and two breathtaking exterior Blue Streak Metallic and Blizzard Pearl coloring. The interior boasts power sliding roof, power sport seats with blue inserts finished in red contrasting stitching, amplified gauge cluster system, push start ignition and wireless smartphone charger.
The 2016 Toyota Corolla Special Edition offers steering wheel paddle shifters, rear disc brakes, sport driving mode and exclusive exterior colors, namely, Absolutely Red, Black Sand Pearl and Super White. It further evolves S Plus package, by adding 17-inch alloy wheels, smart key with push-start ignition, black interior with red contrast stitching on steering wheel and red accented dash panel and door trim.
Apart from that, the two cars will also provide Star Safety System and Unique Special Edition badge and Special Edition logo floor mats to signify uniqueness of their makeup. Both sedans are the wavefront of automaker’s share in the global car market, with Corolla now in its 11th generation, has sold over 40 million copies, setting an unbreakable record of being the most widely used car in the world.
