The British automaker has unveiled a video of McLaren 675LT featuring its stunning power and excellent road grip on the track.
A Green McLaren 675LT tests its grip on the tar, through its actively powered ‘Longtail’ air brakes. In the beginning, the vehicle is beautifully captured from various angles inside out, until the driver hits engine start button, unleashing the rage of the beast onto the race course. The supercar iterates through its different driving modes, as it speeds and drifts, extensively demonstrating the longtail aided traction control functionality.
The latest 675LT inspires its features from the proud 650S, but with improved performance and smoother aerodynamics. It has shed 220 pounds, and holds a 3.8 litre twin-turbo V8 engine, which is able to generate 666 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, combining a perfect power-to-weight ratio of 4 lb/hp, which races it from 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds, before topping it off to a maximum speed of 205 mph.
Safe to say, the British automaker does not have to worry about the competition, as long as it’s keeping McLaren 675LT among its ranks.
