At the launch of new Audi R8, the head of Audi’s Quattro GmbH, Heinz Hollerweger revealed that the automaker is looking to expand its dealings in the U.S. as this will help company improve its sales performance. Based on this, we can expect the new fourth generation Audi RS4 to hit the US markets soon.
Previously, the company reduced the sales of wagons in the US, probably because of the less demand, however things may change with the new RS4. While the previous generation Audi RS4 carried a V8 engine generating 420 horsepower, the new model will feature a twin-turbocharged V6 with even higher power output than its predecessors. The looks will remain same – a five-door avant style.
It is still not confirmed if the RS4 will arrive in the US markets, but there is a strong chance, since the demand for wagons is increasing now, as said by Hollerweger.
