The recently revealed Mercedes-AMG GT S features a phenomenal powertrain that consists of a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 engine which generates 503 horsepower and 479 pounds-feet torque. This robust engine enables the AMG GT S to sprint from stationary to 60mph in just 3.5 with a top speed of 193 mph.

Now imagine upgrading this powertrain to deliver even more speed and power. Yes! This is what the Mercedes-Benz tuning team, Renntech has done to the AMG GT S. The regular Mercedes-AMG GT S when tested on track finished a quarter mile in 11.5 seconds, but when the Renntech test drove their version of the GT S, it was able to cover the same distance in 10.949 seconds hitting a top speed of 128.46 mph.

Talking about the ECU upgrades the Renntech has installed, the AMG GT S features a new exhaust system combined with downpipes and catalytic converters. The wheels installed are ADV.1 customer forged which further enhance the performance of the AMG GT S.
