Good news for Mazda fans! The automaker has announced the starting prices for its 2016 Mazda3 range. The 2.0L sedan with i Sport package and six-speed manual transmission will cost $18,665 including destination charges, while the automatic variant is priced at $19,715. Customers who wish to get Preferred Equipment package will have to pay an additional $1,000 for added features.
The i Touring sedan version will cost $21,095, since it is equipped with features from the Preferred Equipment package plus boasts automatic headlights, rear spoiler, keyless entry and rain sensing wipers etc. The hatchback i Touring version will start at $21,795 with the same features as the sedan. Moreover, i GT sedan and hatchback will be available at $23,595 and $24,295 respectively. The Popular Equipment package will also be available for the Touring models.
Talking about the powertrain, the base Mazda 3 will be equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that generates 155 horsepower and 150 pounds of torque, while the higher-end versions will carry a 2.5-litre SkyActiv-G engine that produces 184 horsepower.
Expect the Mazda3 to arrive in the markets this month.
