A few weeks back, the US automaker Cadillac announced its new XT5 which was to replace the previous SRX midsize crossover. The good news is, we have recently obtained the images of the new XT5 which were taken at a photoshoot in Manhattan.
On the first look, we can say that the front part of the XT5 is similar to the new CT6 sedan because of the re-designed grille and the head lamps. The rear part of the crossover is also uniquely designed featuring an aggressive looking pair of tail lights and dual exhausts integrated into the rear bumper.
The size of the new XT5 is same as the SRX, which means, it will have two rows with a seating capacity of 5 people. However, it is rumoured that a seven seater XT5 will be launched too to compete with the crossovers in its segment.
While the SRX crossover was a huge success and became the top selling Cadillac car in the US, we can expect similar results from the new XT5 too.
The automaker will officially launch the XT5 at Los Angeles Auto Show this November.
