Lotus has just unveiled the all-new 3-Eleven at 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed – the company’s most expensive and quickest road-going car. The buggy styled sports car has a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 pumping out 450 horsepower mated to six-speed manual transmission. In addition, there will be an extreme track-oriented race car produced with extra goodies.
The race version would feature an rear aero-kit, roofless cabin, sequential gearbox with a lightweight body, which would surely set it on fire. It could accelerate from zero to sixty in less than 3 seconds before topping off to a maximum speed of 174 mph.
The all-new Lotus 3-Eleven will hit the production lines in February 2016, with prices starting from £82,000 for the Road version, while the Race version will be offered with a base price of £96,000 (without taxes).
