The emerging sports-frenzy Acura NSX has been confirmed to take part in 93rd Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, as its official pace car. This adds to the privilege of the next-generation NSX, as the fan club has already grown explosively.
The all-new Acura NSX is powered by a bespoke twin-turbo V6 engine mated to a 9-speed dual clutch transmission with sports-based AWD system. The unit which will serve as pace car has been customised for the event by the same team that is responsible for worldwide propagation of NSX, Honda R&D Americas, Inc. The specially decorated NSX pace car will carry 24 cameras for its complete coverage, as it will lead the entrants to the mountain top.
The journey will start at 7:40 am MDT on June 28th, you can either catch Acura NSX pace car live in action on Pikes Peak or watch the video later on its various social media channels.
