Alfa Romeo was going to drop the curtains off the Giulia sedan on 24 June, but just one day before the official introduction, two hazy leaked photos of the car have already gone viral on the internet.
The pictures only show sides and rear of the car, so we are unclear how the front grill looks like. The rear is an inferred match to Company’s Alfa Romeo 4C, but with less distinctive styling. The lateral view gives a mixed hint of BMW & Lexus body mapping. Presumably, it would have a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The power may range from 180 hp to 330 hp according to the variants. There is a chance, a high performance variant with 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine may also be introduced.
The all-new Alfa Romeo Giulia will be sold in the US initially, facing a head on competition from BMW M3, Audi RS4 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.
