2015 has been a very good year for Nissan as the company announced a number of new sedans this year. The new Maxima has already hit the markets, while the latest Altima and the next-generation Titan will soon be joining the league. But this is not all! The Japanese automaker has also revealed plans to release an all-new 2016 Sentra, which will feature some exclusive exterior styling and technological updates.
According to Fred Diaz, Nissan’s senior vice president for sales and marketing in the U.S, the new 2016 Sentra will be “incredibly freshened.” Exterior updates might include a re-designed grille and new LED head lamps, while the tech updates will be as such to make the Sentra stay competitive in the market.
The automaker has not announced anything regarding engine specs and we believe that the powertrain will be same as the previous model holding a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, generating 130 horsepower and 128 pounds of torque.
The exact date of the arrival is not known, but it will probably make its debut this fall.
