Koenigsegg is the first name that comes to every motor enthusiast’s mind when talking about relentless speed. In 2011, the Koenigsegg Agera R made a world record when it went from 0 to 300 to 0 (0-186-0 mph) kilometres in just 21.2 seconds. The mega-car to break this record is none other than a more powerful and faster Koenigsegg Agera One:1.
The name ONE:1 suggests the ratio of 1 horsepower per kilogram. Having a twin-turbocharged aluminium 5.0L V8 powertrain under its hood which generates 1,341 horsepower and 1,011 pound of torque, the One:1 has a top speed of 440 km/h (273.4 mph). To test its performance, the Swedish car manufacturer took the One:1 at a test track in Ängelholm where it was able to sprint from zero to 300 km/h and back to stationary in just 17.95 seconds. An improvement of 3.24-second tells a lot about the enhancements done in the new Agera.
