Revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the new Tivoli by SsangYong hit the international markets in May, and the good news for Qatar is that, El Naael Company – the sole distributor of SsangYong’s vehicles in Qatar- has launched the Tivoli in the country. The launch ceremony took place at the company’s showroom on Salwa Road on 2nd June.
The new Tivoli features a 1.6 litre e-XGI160 petrol unit that generates 126 horsepower and 118 pounds of torque. In addition to the great performance, the engine also provides an impressive fuel economy. Both 2WD and 4WD trims are available.
The general manager, Saeed Bajubair said on the launch ceremony, the company has given immense importance to the safety features of the car. It is equipped with a total seven airbags, a multi-function electronic stability program, active roll-over protection, brake assist, hill start assist, emergency stop signal, a tyre pressure monitor and an alert system for seat belts.
With an estimated price tag of QR 59,000, the company aims to target the young customers.
