Al Futtaim Motors, official distributor of Lexus in the UAE, has called out owners of the Lexus NX 2015 to get their cars serviced owing to certain anomalies in the car’s anti-lock braking system.
As stated by the company’s officials, the Lexus vehicles’ anti-lock braking system is regulated by an ABS actuator and owing to a misalignment of the parts in the ABS actuator during the assembly process, a number of Lexus cars might be at risk of possible defects. This malfunction may further impede the oil pressure, thereby resulting in poor performance when the ABS is activated.
The company also emphasised that the service campaign initiated by Al Futtaim is a measure taken to meet the customer’s expectations of quality as well as to serve them in the best possible manner. The NX 2015 owners have been notified by Lexus about the irregularities, repairs and components that require replacement.
