The Italian automaker, Lamborghini that masters in making luxury sports cars is now aiming to release its latest SUV. The entry into the SUV market segment will surely increase its potential clients.
In 2012, Lamborghini revealed the Urus concept at the Beijing Auto Show but was not able to carry on with the project due to some issues, but now the CEO Stephan Winkelmann has confirmed the production of a new SUV which will be carried at the headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Lamborghini aims to target the USA, China, Middle East, England, Germany and Russia automotive markets.
Although not confirmed, it is believed that the body of the SUV will be manufactured at a plant in Slovakia which also creates structures of Volkswagen SUVs.
Compared to other vehicles by Lamborghini, the new SUV might be the cheapest car by the exotic automaker and is predicted to double the sales of the company.
