The LaFerrari, manufactured by the luxury automaker Ferrari, recently suffered a crash in the city of Shanghai, China. The accident happened on a highway at around 21:00, due to the harsh weather conditions. The driver, Qin Fen, who is the chairman of Shanghai Feirong Investment Co, lost control of his LaFerrari consequently crashing it into a barrier and wrecking the vehicle.

The sports car suffered a great deal of damage as the front suspension, rear suspension and the side body were completely wrecked. However, the driver did not suffer any serious injuries.

This particular Ferrari was one of the seven LaFerraris in China, with a hybrid 6.3 liter V12 engine delivering 950 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. Qin Fen, also owns a number of other exotic vehicles such as a McLaren P1 and a Koenigsegg.

The LaFerrari is a limited edition sports car made by Ferrari with only 499 units built by the automaker. I’m sure, the owner will definitely do something to add this again to its exotic car collection.
