Jaguar has recently revealed the specifications of its new 2017 Jaguar XE which is not expected to go for sale in the US till spring 2016. However, the automaker has announced the details of the American trim.

The 2017 Jaguar XE will be available in two variants, with both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options. The XE 20d will be equipped with a 2.0L, Ingenium aluminum-block, four-cylinder diesel engine that will deliver 180 horsepower and 318-lb of torque. While the XE 35t will have a powerful 3.0-litre V-6 engine capable of providing 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, enabling it hit zero to 60 mph (0 to 96.6 km/h) in just 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 155mph (250 km/h).

Both the engines will be paired with an eight-speed, paddle-shift automatic transmission. Noticing the interior, the new Jaguar will have an InControl infotainment system combined with a touch screen display, Bluetooth connectivity, USB connectivity, SD card option with voice navigation and a speaker surround system.

The price of the 2017 Jaguar XE is not yet disclosed, but probably will be revealed next year.
