Law enforcement in Dubai got itself a major upgrade back in 2014 when the Bugatti Veyron was added to city’s range of luxury cars dedicated towards ensuring the maintenance of law and order in the region. This year, the car has been awarded the rank of being the fastest law enforcement vehicle in the world, as per a list compiled by car sales website, www.carmudi.ae.
Thanks to its capacity of 1,200 horsepower generated by its 16-cylinder engine, the Bugatti Veyron can go from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 267 mph (407 km/h). Unfortunately, people will not get the chance to see the car in action as the Bugatti Veyron represents a major tool in a public relations campaign to be implemented by Dubai Police with the objective to present a more progressive image of the force.
Other cars from the UAE to make the list are the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 (second place), the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 (third place) and the Porsche Panamera (fourth place).
