A good news for car collectors; a dealership in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is hosting the sale of chassis number two version of the exclusive, track-only Maserati MC12 Versione Corse for the price of $2.9 million.
Only 12 models of the car were made back in 2006 and were sold to a handful of extremely wealthy car enthusiasts for the price of 1,000,000 Euros ($1,080,989).
With a look that is very similar to the Ferrari Enzo, the Maserati MC12 features 6.0-litre V12 engine that can take it from 0 to 62 mph (100km/h) in just 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph (325km/h).
The car had not been approved for use on public roads, mainly due to a stiff suspension and a severe lack of visibility. This is why its makers suggest that it remains on track, thus giving drivers to take full advantage of its 744 horsepower sent through the car’s rear-wheels for better, faster speed.
