Preparations are under-way for the new Vision Gran Turismo by Volkswagen. Last year, the GTI Roadster concept was revealed as part of the Vision Gran Turismo program and now this year, VW is gearing up to release another one.

The new GTI concept is also known as the GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo and is expected to make its debut at the annual GTI meet in Wörthersee, Austria where previously both the GTI Vision Concept and the GTI Roadster Concept were revealed.

No official information has been released yet about the specifications of the new GTI, but it will probably be similar to its predecessor which was powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L TSI VR6 with 503hp and 491 lb-ft torque with a 4MOTION all-wheel drive.

VW released a teaser video and pictures of the GTI sports car concept that will be available to download like previous GT concept cars.

The video shows that the new GTI will have a more aggressive look with a large rear spoiler, fixed roof along with a white body work.
