A winner of the 2015 World Performance Car Award, the Mercedes-AMG GT S is now available at Al-Ain Class Motors Dubai, one of UAE’s most high-end dealerships and sole distributor of the car brand.
Previously unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, the Mercedes AMG GT S is apparently already winning hearts and, if truth be told, it is easy to see why. The new car sports a twin-turbocharged, 4.0-litre, V-8 engine with 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque enabling to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 sec on its way to a top speed of 310 km/h.
The car has been developed using SLS AMG platform and is fast and less expensive than others from the automaker, thus positioning itself in the ‘reasonably priced’ segment. Priced at $129,900, the Mercedes-AMG GT S is ranked between the Porsche 911 GT3 and its number one rival, the 911 Carrera GTS.
