Recent reports suggest that Ferrari is planning to design an entry level model with a twin turbo V6 engine. No official announcement has been made yet, but Jonny Lieberman, the senior features editor at Motor Trend said in his tweet that Ferrari will release a V6 car in 2019 priced at $180,000 competing against Porsche 911 Turbo S, Mercedes-AMG GT and the McLaren 570S.
Rumours have it that Ferrari is looking to revive its Dino series, which was produced between 1968 and 1976 and marketed as a low cost sports car.
At 2015 New York Auto Show, McLaren revealed 570s which will be in the same price range as 911 turbo S, but the company is also aiming to release an even less expensive 540S.
