Buckle up convertible fans! Honda has something in store for you. The concept car designed by Ryo Mukumoto in Honda’s design competition will turn into reality very soon as Honda reveals new S660.
This baby roadster is designed to weigh less than a ton and is much shorter and skinnier than its competitor Mazda Mx-5. Honda has not officially announced the car’s specification, but according to reports, this carefully engineered Kei car will be powered by a 660cc turbo 3 cylinder engine providing approximately 64 Hp with a top seed of around 135 mph. The S660 employs a mid-engine design keeping the front and rear of the car perfectly balanced.
This 2 seat convertible’s light-weight body combined with a powerful engine and a sporty interior and exterior gives this roadster an edge over its competitors.
The Japanese car company is expected to release the light-weight version of the car only in Japan, whereas the US version might have a slightly different engine with more weight.
