McLaren continues alluding to its forthcoming Sports Series in a string of teasers each of which reveals a sneak-peek of the much awaited sports cars. The 2016 Sports Series is set to debut at the New York Auto Show in April competing against the likes of Porsche 911, Mercedes-AMG GT and Audi R8
While it is quite early to delve into intricate details of the car’s appearance, the recent photos, unlike the previously disguised images released by McLaren, reveal a shot of the car’s flank displaying the door which looks aerodynamic with an orange and black exterior.
It is speculated that the car’s specifications will include the detuned version of V8 engine generating 500 hp similar to the 650S and will also sport design features of the recently launched P1. Other attributes of the car include a spacious cabin and an ample cargo space. Sales of the Sports Series are slated for the second quarter of this year.
