Believe it or not, but this concept will leave you in a shock. Yes, Italdesign Giugiaro GEA Concept has been mesmerising the audiences since its unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show. This impressive yet stunning beauty has got both the style and performance. The autonomously driven sedan focuses on giving more control to the passengers at the rear rather than the front, so that the driver can also enjoy the travel.
Designed by Italdesign’s chief stylist Wolfgang Egger, who has been the head of design at Audi up till 2013, explains that the vehicle focuses on the businessmen and women allowing them to work while they are travelling. Covered in deep Obsidian Blue paint job with dark-tinted windows on the outside, this stunning beauty can only be described in one word “seductive”.
The GEA provides an opportunity to its passengers to choose between three internal configurations, while using a control sphere mounted between the front seats. These configurations can turn the car into a travelling office, a wellness centre or a relaxation dark spa, which has been titled as the “dream mode” by the maker.
The interesting thing about this dream mode is that it can turn your car into a dream bedroom. The moment the dream mode is switched on, the internal lights turn dim, windows get dark and the right side seats turn into beds. In business mode, the interior becomes bright, allowing you to have maximum light on your files, while the wellness mode turns this luxury sedan in a running gymnasium.
For people who love to drive themselves, the Italdesign Giugiaro GEA provides them full control as well. Powered by four electric motors, one for each wheel, the collective energy produced is 764 horsepower which is enough to take it to a top speed of 155 mph (249.4 km/h).
We have no news about when this concept will be hitting the production line, let’s hope this becomes a reality.
