American automaker Jeep has released images of the new Renegade Hard Steel, which is to be revealed at 2015 Geneva Motor Show starting this week at Geneva Paiexpo.
The Jeep Renegade Hard Steel is the prototype of a customization project, based on Jeep Renegade Trailhawk, which is an offroad version of the subcompact crossover. The new ‘Hard Steel’ nameplate is derived from the vehicle’s design language that features Brushed Steel exterior in contrast with matte black accents.
Brushed Steel exterior signifies the use of innovative aviation and marine technology in a road car, while the matte black accent encompasses fenders, bumpers, bonnet air vents, side rubbing strips, 16-inch alloy wheels, mirror covers, grid and roof bars.
The similar style scheme goes on to the inside, where Brushed Steel treatment appears on audio speakers, glove compartment, gearbox and air conditioning vents. Moreover, the seats are perfectly stitched with light grey tone.
The most fascinating thing about the Hard Steel is its rear trailer that uses Renegade’s rear design. This trailer will be enclosing a touch screen display showing the Uconnect® LIVE system functions like Internet Music, Internet Radio, News, real time Traffic, and Social Networking.
The 2015 Geneva Motor Show will continue from 5 to 15 March, displaying a number of automotive innovations.
