Bentley has released images of its EXP 10 Speed 6 concept ahead of its live debut in Geneva this week.”EXP 10 Speed 6 is one vision for Bentley’s future – a powerful, exquisite and individual concept. The showcar has the potential to be the new pinnacle luxury two-seat sports car. It offers thrilling, driver-oriented performance, complete with trademark modern Bentley luxury and effortlessness,” said Wolfgang Dürheimer, chairman and chief executive of Bentley Motors.
The EXP 10 Speed 6 concept takes the Continental GT formula and makes it slimmer, more angular and more aggressive. The two-seater’s proportions make for a sleeker overall visual package than its production big-brother’s.
Up front, the concept’s headlights-at-the-nose look recalls classic British performance cars. A subtle “6” is shaded into the corporate grille.
The side profile is dominated by a sweeping greenhouse, massive brake ducts, swept-back wheels over massive brakes, and a bold, muscular rear fender. In the rear, sculpted LED taillights match molded-in exhaust outlets over an aggressive rear splitter.
Inside, saddle-brown, quilted Poltrona Frau leather seats dominate a luxurious and sporty cabin. The trim is solid cherry and brushed aluminum, and a touchscreen center stack sits beneath a classic analog clock. The aluminum-and-leather steering wheel frames a full digital cluster. Behind the seats, the cargo area sits under the sloped rear glass.
Dürheimer envisions the EXP 10 Speed 6 spawning a new model alongside the Continental GT, and promises that, if nothing else, it represents a “bold vision” for future Bentley styling trends.
