Porsche has introduced a new optional body kit for its 911 Turbo family.The package includes a new front spoiler and a completely redesigned rear deck lid, featuring a fixed rear spoiler with side winglets.
The company claims its new “Aerokit Turbo” add-ons also improve aerodynamic function, improving driving dynamics via increased downforce — without downgrading the coefficient of drag.
The total downforce generated at 186 mph on the track has been increased by 37 lbs to 57 lbs in the ‘Speed’ setting, while the ‘Performance’ mode brings the downforce up by 40 lbs to top out at 331 lbs.
The kit will be available from Porsche Exclusive in high-gloss black or matched to the body color, adding $6,950 to the new purchase price of the 911 Turbo or Turbo S. Retrofitting is also possible for existing vehicles, with an MSRP of $6,886 plus installation and finishing costs.
