Honda has revealed its new supercar, Acura NSX on youtube in a teasing 30-sec video, stealing the spotlight. The incoming has stirred nostalgic restlessness among already fuming anticipators. I guess it’s tactical to hurt the fans so they keep asking for more. Publicity is such a dirty business and Honda ‘means’ victory in strategic arena.

Now among the things that need immediate mention, car racing Champion of the Millennium, Ayrton Senna is topping the list. During his racing career in Honda, he’d help develop the car that would carry his legacy in years to come and the Honda Acura NSX will bring the very promise when it will hit the tracks.

Honda reckons Acura NSX as its brand’s premium offering, no kidding – which is why fans had to wait since its Concept was revealed at 2012 Detroit auto show. The production model has to imitate the concept car in every bit, but details like power, price and fuel economy matter, influentially. As the theoretical design moves down the production line, there may be a few changes if necessitated by competition. Now this is out of the scope technical Mumbo-Jumbo, you don’t have to worry about. Honda is working on it with the world’s best; led by Acura Design Studio in Torrance, CA and staff engineers of company’s R&D operation in Raymond, Ohio.

Let’s talk about the features. Hate to say, those pockets are yet to be unfolded, but we do know that Honda Acura NSX is introducing the very best three-motor set-up which was also featured in the prototype. The new car has an electric motor to power front wheels, a twin-turbocharged hybrid power unit driving the rear wheels and somewhat environmental approach to dispose pollutant gas-contents before they fire out from the exhaust systems. I’m not an environmentalist, not strictly, but I’ve to say the last feature is not so bad to have around. See, global warming, deforestation, melting Ice caps.. wait, I totally love that feature. In fact, Honda’s European competitors are gaining on this much appreciated strategy with priority.

Honda, no doubt is our old time luxury brand. The new Honda Acura NSX for all its reason to be underground will dominate the competition. So far, there has been a few official statements justifying that Honda’s confidant bringing the Heat to the Roads.

The Acura NSX will dawn on January 12 during North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The event will be open for the public on January 17. Mark your calendars as the countdown starts, the Ultimate Acura expression will deliver the next generation of supercar experience.
