The Chinese automobile manufacturer, BYD has officially started selling vehicles in Saudi Arabia through its agent, First Advanced Auto. The launching ceremony was attended by government officials, businessmen and media personnel.

On its launching ceremony, the automaker unveiled its four different models for the KSA market including F3, F5, F7 and S6. The BYD F3 among these is a compact sedan with 1.6 litre engine, smart technologies and urbane exterior. The F7 on the other hand is a full-size sedan with spacious interior and state-of-the-art technologies.


BYD will also be offering a compact SUV in the market under S6 nameplate. The BYD S6 with its attractive design, performance, equipment and safety could be the most preferable SUV across Saudi Arabia in the coming time. Above all, BYD presented the first driverless vehicle in the Saudi market. The BYD F5 Suri is a mid-size sedan that can be driven via remote control. However, the speed limit for a driverless ride is 7 km/h.


BYD aims to carry its product awareness campaign using social networking sites. For this purpose, First Advanced Auto has appointed a team, which will be dedicated to connect with audiences round the clock through social media. BYD’s decision to begin operations in Saudi Arabia has resulted from the appreciation its vehicles has collected in other parts of the Middle East including UAE.
