It has now been confirmed that Rolls-Royce Motors will ship its special edition Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Collection to Kuwait. In this regard, Ali Alghanim & Sons Automotive has been added to the limited list of dealers that will receive these vehicles.
The British luxury automaker announced earlier this year that it will produce special edition Waterspeed Collection to compliment Sir Malcolm Campbell who went onto the calm blue waters of Lake Maggiore on Swiss-Italian frontier in 1937. The voyager set a world record at that time by travelling at 125 MPH using a Rolls-Royce powered Bluebird K3 hydroplane-boat.
The car was previewed along with its features at Bluebird Restaurant, which was the site of original Bluebird Motor Company, in front of selected UK press and customers. The car appeared in a specially developed ‘Maggiore Blue’ paint inspired by Bluebird’s original colour scheme. The exterior also features a hand-painted coachline with the Bluebird motif. The engine specification of this limited edition vehicle is however the same as that of a standard Rolls-Royce Phantom. Reportedly, the company will produce only 35 of these vehicles.
Ali Alghanim & Sons Automotive, the official dealer of Rolls-Royce vehicles in Kuwait, has also shown its gratitude towards the manufacturer for indicating Kuwaiti auto market for this bespoke vehicle.
