Jeep has fully revealed six ‘concept’ vehicles that will be brought to Moab, Utah, for the annual Easter Jeep Safari gathering.

Most of the fleet merely show off production model Wranglers and Cherokees decked out with a full range of Mopar accessories and other aftermarket parts, though several prototypes represent a higher level of customization.

The Cherokee Dakar is billed as the “most extreme Cherokee ever,” featuring a unique grille and lower fascia trim. Its wheel openings have been modified to accommodate 33-inch mud tires, while off-road performance and durability is said to be enhanced by a prototype lift kit, suspension tweaks, rock rails and skid plates.

The Cherokee Adventurer is closer to the basic Trailhawk edition, though it shows off a prototype roof basket and special wheels that are not available in the current Mopar catalog.

Several Wranglers have also been brought to Utah, appropriately representing Jeep’s off-road heritage. The Level Red edition features a lift kit, Rock-Trac transfer case, six-speed manual transmission and Dana 44 crate axles, along with a half-door kit, prototype wheels and a new bumper.

The Wrangler MOJO features an orange color scheme and many of the same off-road add-ons, while the Wrangler Maximum Performance is showcased in a blue livery. Both ride on 37-inch tires and their own custom wheels.

“This year, we’re showcasing a combination of Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts on our vehicles for off-road enthusiasts to see a variety of customization and personalization options,” said Mopar CEO Pietro Gorlier.

The Easter Jeep Safari begins this weekend and continues all the way through the holiday. Off-road enthusiasts are invited to test their skills on Moab’s iconic terrain, with trails of varying difficulty.
