Jaguar has unveiled the Jaquar F-Type Coupe, which makes its global debuts this week at the Los Angeles and Tokyo shows and Dubai.
Jaguar calls the F-Type coupe, the most dynamically capable, performance-focused, production Jaguar ever.
The long-awaited hardtop counterpart to the F-Type roadster just does not get a fixed roof, but also a new range topping model, the F-Type Coupe R, which packs an impressive 542bhp from a 5.0-litre supercharged engine, taking it from 0- 100 kmph in 4.0 seconds and to an electronically limited top speed of 300 kmph. the F-Type Coupe R is priced from $ 138,000
The entry level F-Type Coupe uses a 335 bhp 3.0-litre supercharged V6 and the F-Type Coupe S packs 375 bhp from the same engine. Prices start from $ 83,000 and $ 97,622 respectively.
All engines drive the rear wheels through an eight-speed ‘Quickshift’ transmission with full manual sequential control via steering wheel-mounted paddles or the central SportShift lever.
The F-Type S and F-Type Coupe R models both can be equipped with an optional Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) braking system – featuring 398/380mm discs front/rear.
