Cadillac has revealed the interior of its all-new 2015 Escalade SUV.  Set to be unveiled in less than a week, the Escalade will join General Motors previously revealed full-size SUVs, the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon.

This time around, Cadillac’s SUV will share less than ever than with its humbler kin, receiving a completely unique dashboard that’s dominated by the controversial CUE infotainment system and its attendant capacitive touch controls. In place of the current model’s analog gauges is a completely digital instrument cluster that, tantalizing, provides an image of the new truck’s exterior that’s just slightly too small to see clearly.  Wood trim on the steering wheel, the dashboard and the door panels helps set the SUV apart from its less opulent Tahoe and Yukon siblings.

We can tell from the camouflaged protoypes that the Escalade will wear a generously sized chrome grille flanked by headlights that look to line up with lower LED running lights in the manner of the new 2014 CTS.  Cadillac’s latest teaser images seem to confirm that hunch.

Around back, our spies say that the Escalade’s taillights appear to stretch all the way up the D-pillar.

Expect GM’s latest direct-injected 6.2-liter V8 to be under the hood, making at least the 420 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque it produces in the 2015 GMC Yukon Denali. A six-speed automatic will likely handle shifting duties.

As before, standard-wheelbase and long-wheel-base (ESV) models will be on offer, although the discontinued Escalade EXT pickup isn’t likely to make a comeback.
