The hit television show Breaking Bad is coming to a close this week after five seasons, but auction site ScreenBid is giving you a chance to keep the plot going by auctioning off some of the key cars used in the series.
In all ScreenBid is auctioning off six cars used in the show, with the most notable being Walter White’s Pontiac Aztec.
Lot No. 20 is one of three Aztecs used on the show – one example is on display at the Sony studios and the other was used for a parts car. This particular 2003 Aztec was used in a crash scene and is described as having a rear quarter that “is pretty much wrecked, and the glass is broken, so it’ll need some work. OK, it’ll need a whole lot of work.”
The bidding for Walter’s Aztec will start at $1,000, but we have a feeling that price will quickly climb.
Jesse Pinkman’s 1986 Toyota Tercel TDX is also included in the auction, but Toyota’s bullet proof reliability means the red hatchback has a much higher starting price – $5,500. The auction site says the Tercel runs and drives, but the “paint is faded and the interior has been affected by age.” The car has 181,500 miles on the clock.
If you like your memorabilia with a little more utility, Skyler White’s 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is also being sold off. The Jeep is a runner, but does have an oil leak and some cosmetic issues. The Jeep’s opening bid is set for $7,125, but the popularity of both Breaking Bad and the Grand Wagoneer should push the SUV easily into the five-figure range.
The other three vehicles included in the auction are Marie Shrader’s Volkswagen Beetle, a Cadillac driven by Walter White in the later episodes and a Vamonos Pest Control work truck used in season five.
