It was only last week when Porsche showed us at Frankfurt Motor Show the production-ready 918 Spyder and now the configurator is available online.
Porsche said they plan on making only 918 units of their new flagship model but most of them have already been accounted for so the configurator was designed for the remaining units. By checking out the source link below you can fiddle with the online configurator which doesn’t provide pricing info but we already know in the United States the base (if there is such a thing) 918 Spyder kicks off at 845,000 USD.
You can have your 918 Spyder in one of the twelve exterior paint schemes available, along with one of the three wheel designs and seven two-tone interior themes. Most of the optional goodies are related to the interior cabin which can be appointed with a fire extinguisher (insert Ferrari joke here), six-point seatbelts and other bits and pieces. For the exterior you can choose the lift system front axle and a stone guard film which is applied on the more susceptible parts of the body for protection against paintwork damage.
