Hungarian designer X-Tomi has envisioned a different coupe version of the Seat Leon.
Compared to the hatchback, the Seat Leon SC three-door has a 35mm shorter wheelbase and a more raked roofline. Other than that, the two cars are pretty much identical so the SC doesn’t really meet all the criteria to be categorized as a coupe.
X-Tomi decided to create a true Leon coupe and gave it the Lugo moniker. Riding on the same MQB platform, the Seat Lugo is a very attractive coupe and from the looks of this render it has been modified into a two-seater. In addition, the car’s design is considerably more aggressive than the Leon SC and comes with a more coupe-like roofline.
Maybe a similar model would help Seat double sales which according to company boss James Muir is the only way to save the troubled Spanish brand.
