Nissan has introduced this week a limited GT-R Midnight Opal Edition which will be available globally in 100 examples.
The name comes from its Midnight Opal exterior color scheme with each coat being applied by hand. Depending on viewing angle and lightning conditions, the color has a two-tone effect. Nissan says the end result is comparable to what exotic supercars have.
Aside from the special paint, this limited GT-R has a carbon fiber rear spoiler for added downforce, along with forged alloys which have a Hyper Titanium finish. The engine bay sports a gold-plated numbered plaque, while the twin-turbo V6 3.8-liter mill has been left untouched so it offers 545 bhp (406 kW).
Those of you who want more power will have to wait until next year for the Nismo version which will come with at least 570 bhp (425 kW).
