Williams and Nissan have joined forces to co-develop upcoming Nismo models.
We already knew Nissan was planning to increase its Nismo lineup but a collaboration with Williams is a big surprise.
Nismo current family includes the 370Z, Juke and March, but will be expanded next year with a Juke Nismo RS and the GT-R Nismo. Since press release mentions the first products will arrive in 2014, most likely the upcoming two Nismo models will benefit from Williams’ tech.
The outcome of this partnership promises to incorporate “cutting edge Formula One based technologies and processes into Nissan’s high performance road cars.” Sir Frank Williams says “this collaboration will see us work closely together to develop cars that will be at the forefront of automotive technology.”
