Theophilus Chin has released two renders depicting a potential look for the third generation Renault Twingo.

His renders are based on the Renault Twin’Run concept which serves as a preview in terms of styling for the new Twingo which will be out in 2014. Looking more toned down, Renault’s city car could be a nice alternative to the Opel Adam, MINI, Fiat 500 and other cars in this segment.

The 2014 Twingo will share its platform with the next-gen Smart ForTwo and might eventually spawn a hotter model envisioned as a Renault 5 Turbo reboot judging by the specs of the V6-powered Twin’Run. An EV version could also be in the works, joining a variety of gasoline- and diesel-powered variants.
