SsangYong has unveiled the facelifted Korando in South Korea.<\/p>\n
Looking more aggressive than its predecessor, the updated model has a new front bumper, a revised grille and LED-infused headlights. The styling changes are less noticeable out back but include a larger rear spoiler and restyled taillights.<\/p>\n
Bigger changes occur in the cabin as the model has been equipped with a new dashboard, revised instrumentation and a modern infotainment system. We can also see wood trim, metallic accents and higher quality materials.<\/p>\n
Under the hood, two 2.0-liter engines are available. The entry-level version produces 149 HP (109 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque, while the higher-end variant develops 181 HP (133 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque. Depending on which engine is selected, it can be paired to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and an optional all-wheel drive system.<\/p>\n
