Cadillac’s most famous vehicle, the XTS, won’t be with us from the next year. The X-Series Touring sedan came to give the automaker time to create the range-topping CT6 sedan. And after its introduction, the XTS is not needed anymore.

It is true that Cadillac’s fans never approved the XTS the way they desired the CTS and ATS sports sedans. However, when we look at the sales numbers, the XTS did better than their counterparts. For instance, the automaker traded 3,038 ATSs and 3,045 CTSs against 3,553 XTSs in Q3 of 2017. Another surprising fact; the XTS outnumbered the CT6 in sales during the same period.

The sales numbers in Q3 of 2018 were no different. The ATS attracted 2,281 customers, the CT6 reached the garages of 2,376, and the CTS was sold to 3,695 customers. On the other hand, the XTS took the lead with a healthy 4,101 units sold.

These are very notable numbers for a sedan,Cadillac Ended Production of its Most Famous Sedan, XTS which was created out of obligation and was liked by customers who were not very fond of high-performance sports sedans. The XTS will live on in the CT6 and will always be remembered.

If you are someone who likes to get their hands on this touring luxury sedan, you may be able to buy it in the UAE at a starting price of AED 198,500.
