Abu Dhabi Police has issued a notification, which enables the car owners to pay their traffic fines in installments. The best thing about it is that the authority will not charge any interest on these partial payments.
To pay the traffic fines, the payer must have a debit or credit card from any of the following banks: First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Mashreq, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank and Emirates Islamic Bank.
These banks allow car owners to pay their fines over a period of a year with no interest. Just visit or call the bank to create an installment plan as per your convenience.
This is not the first time Abu Dhabi Police is giving motorists a chance to pay their fines in installments. Last year, they initiated a similar scheme as well.
In the past, Dubai Police has also been seen offering relaxation to violators.
