If you love to spend off-grid life on the weekends, the upcoming VW California 6.1 Beach will fit the bill perfectly. It will be on display from today at the 2019 Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, Germany. An advanced version of the VW California, it sets itself apart with a mini-kitchen and space for seven people in it.
You can setup the mini-kitchen behind the driver seat between the B and C pillars. It has a gas burner and little room on the right side. As you are done with the cooking, you can place it effortlessly into the wall without posing any problem for passengers inside. Besides this nifty feature, other options VW California 6.1 Beach include an aluminum roof with canvas sides, a roof bed, a fold-away table, and the rear bench seat, which folds to set up a new sleeping zone.
For now, Volkswagen has plans to introduce it in its home market, but we love to see this making its way to the Gulf States. Stay tuned for more updates on it.
